In recent years,with the rapid development of interconnection technology and the increase of mobile device penetration rate,the mobile audio industry has become a new hot development field,and the number of mobile audio users also shows a steady growth trend every year.The influence of mobile audio has gradually penetrated into our lives,and the sensory role of hearing has gradually been re-recognized and valued.In today's society where "visualization" is popular,the emergence of mobile audio is imperceptibly breaking this visual hegemony and making innovative development in sensory balance.Since ancient times,auditory symbols have been an important medium for people to participate in social life for information exchange and meaning transmission,but with the development of the times,auditory symbols gradually indulge,and the visual symbols of "subjectivity" gradually become the primary information medium,occupying the hegemonic position.Long-term visual dominance has changed people's cognitive style and survival style,narrowing the dimension of people's understanding of the world and practice.In the 1860 s,McLuhan recognized the development of this trend and put forward the concept of "acoustic spatial regression ".Since then,more and more people have begun to devote themselves to the study of "auditory turn" and advocate the balanced development of the senses.Based on this background,this paper discusses the significance of auditory transmission of mobile audio in auditory regression environment.The introduction of this paper briefly introduces the origin of auditory regression and its possibility of regression,and shows the innovation of this study by summarizing the current research status on mobile audio and auditory culture.The first chapter mainly discusses the visual culture and auditory turn,through the in-depth exploration of McLuhan's view of auditory regression,to explore the occurrence context of auditory regression in today's environment.The second chapter defines mobile audio and places it in a cultural environment to show the important role of auditory culture in different fields of human development.The third chapter discusses the mobile audio in the social environment,through theinteraction between people as the main body of society and mobile audio,it reflects the practical significance of mobile audio for auditory regression.Chapter four puts forward the prospect of auditory regression and the reflection on hearing.Through the analysis of mobile audio,this research expands the extension of the connotation and extension of auditory culture,and also strengthens the idea of auditory regression put forward by McLuhan.The sensory function of hearing is gradually recovering,and the era of sensory balance is coming towards us.
