Application Of GIS Technology In An Asset Management System For A Network Company

The network company is a state-owned culture enterprise,which is mainly engaged in radio and television program transmission,digital TV program value-added business,data private network business,broadband access and other professional comprehensive information services.According to the characteristics of the geographical distribution of network assets and the superiority of GIS in spatial data management,a network company invested in the design and development of an asset management system based on GIS technology.The main work of this article is as follows:This thesis first introduces the background of the subject and the research status at home and abroad,and then briefly introduces the technology used to develop the asset management system of a network company.Affirmed the feasibility of building a GIS-based network asset management system.Based on the analysis results,the system design work was gradually carried out.It was determined that Visual Studio.NET was combined with ArcGIS Engine10.7.1 and Microsoft Office 2019 for system development and integration.To manage the database,and based on the needs research and analysis,design and implement the system construction and operation and maintenance material procurement management,construction and operation and maintenance warehouse management,network engineering construction and operation and maintenance engineering management,network engineering design management,and network There are six functional modules for asset management and post-network asset information background management,as well as database content for support.Finally,this article tested and analyzed the system before going online,and summarized and prospected the system development.The asset management system of the network company based on GIS technology designed in this paper has good database management functions,and has good analysis and processing capabilities for the spatial information of network assets.The use of this system improves the company's asset management capabilities,improves service quality,and reduces service costs.
