The antenna is an indispensable front-end device for wireless communication systems,and its performance is critical to the overall communication quality.In recent years,wireless communication systems have become faster and faster,and communication quality requirements have become higher and higher.High-gain antennas have become a hot and difficult point of research today.In this paper,a continuous transverse finger stub(CTS)array antenna with combined feed is designed.The parallel feed network using a planar extension structure converts the TE10 mode from the standard waveguide port into multiple signals with the same phase and the same power and breaks them into a linear source.Through the staggered design and periodic arrangement of the zigzag cavities in the linear source,the TE10 mode is converted into a quasi-TEM mode,and then the E-plane stepped lateral branches are fed through the E-plane waveguide power divider.In the design,a single-layer feed network and linear feed are used to replace the traditional multi-layer parallel feed network and pillbox coupler.When the radiant branches are added,the antenna only needs to be expanded horizontally,and the overall profile remains unchanged,thereby achieving low Design goals for the profile.The research results in this paper mainly include the following two parts:First,a 4×4 array Ka-band CTS antenna array is designed,and the feeding layer uses Chebyshev caliber synthesis to reduce the sidelobe level.The simulation results show that the return loss is better than-12.5dB and the gain reaches 28.7dBi in the working frequency band of 34-41 GHz.The side lobe level of the E side is-18.3dB,and the 3dB lobe width is ± 3 °;the side lobe level of the H side is-19 dB,and the 3dB lobe width is ± 3.5 °.Ratio,the bandwidth and gain are basically unchanged,and the sidelobe level is greatly reduced.Then,based on the Ka-band analysis and design,an 8×8 array of E-band CTS antennas was designed.The final simulation results show that within the working bandwidth of 71-86 GHz,the return loss is better than-12.5dB,and the gain reaches 33.4dBi.The side lobe levels of the E-plane and H-plane are-19.3dB and-19.7dB,and the horizontal 3dB beam width is ± 2.4 ° and ± 2.3 °,respectively.It has good wide frequency band,low profile,and high gain characteristics.
