In the fields of weapon testing,industrial measurement,sports,etc.,the measurement of the bounce height is of great significance for improving the accuracy of weapon system strikes,ensuring the safety of industrial production products,and guiding sports analysis of sports activities.In order to overcome the problems of long calibration time and high cost of existing test methods,the thesis combined with the characteristics of non-contact detection and high stability of image processing methods,and the method of measuring bounce height based on image analysis was studied in this paper.By analyzing the bouncing height test principle and combining with actual test requirements,the linear camera with high scanning frequency and high resolution was selected as the image sensor.The optical imaging component ensured that the bouncing target can be collected within a certain range,which consisted of an optical lens and a cylindrical lens.Through the selection of imaging devices,a bounce height image acquisition system was constructed.A parameter setting method of higher than the matching line frequency was adopted,because the line frequency would affect the feature points of the bounce height.Therefore,a complete target bounce process image was reliably obtained.By analyzing the target bouncing linear images which were obtained in the laboratory and outdoor.Firstly,the background difference method was used to eliminate the impact of fixed noise on the image.Secondly,through image quality evaluation,the open and close operation of mathematical morphology was used to enhance the image.Finally,the bounce track and background were segmented by a threshold,and the solitary point filtering was performed to remove the residual noise,the goal of obtaining a clean bounce track image was achieved.Skeleton extraction was performed on the bounce track with a certain width.Hence,smooth and uninterrupted single pixel bounce track was obtained.By analyzing the bounce track of the target,the extreme value method was used to obtain the pixel coordinate values of the bounce height feature points,combined with line frequency of linear camera,and the characteristic moment value in the target bounce process was obtained.Therefore,according to the kinematics equation,the target bounce height was calculated.By designing a height comparison experiment based on pixel analysis,the bounce height simulation experiment was carried out in different environments in the laboratory and outdoor.The test results of the method given in the paper were compared with the data obtained from comparative experiments.The error of the target bounce height is less than ±5mm,which shows that the image acquisition system and image processing analysis algorithm constructed in the paper are effective and feasible.
