The 21 st century is a century of information expansion.A large number of data appear in daily life.The era of big data has come.Since the "Big Data" concept was put forward by Gartner in 2001,Data Mining technology came into being.It has been applied in various industries and played a great role in the competition of telecom operators in the market.The design of this paper is mainly based on the application research of K-means clustering algorithm in precision marketing of communication operators.The design of this paper will focus on the following three aspects to reflect my work content,project background,design process and final research results.In order to meet the needs of the market,operators need to continuously develop new products to meet the usage habits of different groups of customers in the process of management decisions.Traditional product development only relies on the experience of decision-makers and the market feedback of similar products from friends,etc.,which is lack of accuracy and pertinence and relatively poor effect.However,through data mining,the use of big data analysis technology provides the possibility for accurate development and effective targetingFirstly,this paper studies the current background of data mining,telecom industry characteristics and precision marketing,analyzes the recent research status at home and abroad,and focuses on the key technologies involved in the research direction of this paper.Secondly,the K-means clustering algorithm is studied,which is mainly reflected in the detailed elaboration of the theory of the algorithm and the characteristics of the algorithm,and the design of the improvement and application of the K-means clustering algorithm is emphasized.Combined with data mining technology,the precision marketing strategy is designed.Finally,a set of effective ways and methods are designed according to the data of telecom users' usage patterns and consumption habits.The analysis method designed in this paper is applied to practical cases to conduct cluster analysis on users and propose targeted and precise marketing strategies.At the same time,in daily work,according to the analysis results of customer maintenance,marketing,verified the accuracy of the analysis.Through studies based on k-means clustering algorithm in the application of precision marketing communications operators,finally achieved professional property according to different user data mining analysis,can make the operator to see different properties of a real customer business consumption ability and use of behavior,and then through the development of new products or matching with existing products,precision marketing,fundamentally improve the user experience,really speaks through data,improve the sales of precision.
