In recent years,there are more and more kinds of mobile devices,the number of which is explosive growth,the demand for wireless network resources of mobile terminals is also increasing,the traditional wireless local area network architecture is facing many challenges.Software-defined network is a new direction to promote the reform of traditional network architecture.The core principle of software-defined network is to separate the control level from the data level and to realize the programmable nature of the control strategy.In this paper,the load balancing of wireless local area network(WLAN)is studied,and the problems in traditional wireless network are solved by using the idea of defining network with the help of software and the wireless network architecture defined by software.The purpose of this paper is to balance the The load condition ensures the network service quality of the mobile terminal and realizes the dynamic load balancing.It is of great theoretical significance and practical value for the research of load balancing in wireless networks.In this paper,load balancing is divided into two stages,and the improvement of balancing algorithm and the optimization of switching strategy are proposed respectively.In the aspect of improved balancing algorithm,this paper considers both the mobile terminal and the wireless access point,selects the signal strength,bandwidth idle rate,the number of associated terminals,and adds the scheduling priority parameters of the mobile terminal used to reduce the switching times in load balancing to formulate the weight calculation formula.Use switching factors to avoid the ping-pong effect of mobile terminals switching back and forth between two or more access points.In the aspect of switching strategy optimization,a new switching machine based on Odin architecture is proposed.The backup of multiple lightweight virtual access points is created in the access point within the signal range of the mobile terminal.Only one of these backups can be turned on.By optimizing the process of creating,transferring and deleting the backup access point,the switching delay can be reduced.Based on the new switching process,the original Odin architecture is improved and a new cache area is built to store backup information.In order to verify the effectiveness and improvement of the proposed scheme,the experimental platform is built by the combination of Mininet-WiFi simulation tool and Floodlight controller,and the comparative experiments are designed by simulating the wireless network of real scene,and the results of several groups of experiments are compared and analyzed in detail.The experimental results show that the proposed scheme has a good effect on reducing the occupation of network resources,reducing the switching delay of equipment,shortening the completion time of load balancing.
