With the constant progress of science and technology,every field has higher requirement for the performance of the antenna feed,put forward from the linear polarization antenna to the circular polarization,antenna polarization multiplexing and other forms of development,from the initial single frequency feed to dual-band,multiband feed development,requirements on the same pair of antenna for antenna performance indicators.Based on the needs of a practical project,this paper puts forward the technical requirements of S/X dual-frequency band,high efficiency and self-tracking for the antenna.In order to meet the higher technical indicators of the antenna,a circular polarization S/X dual-frequency band high-efficiency self-tracking feed is designed.Generally,the traditional single-frequency feeders are used to realize the requirements of multiple frequency bands,which will inevitably increase the number of feeders.The solution in this form,whether it is the space requirement of antenna centrepiece or the complexity of the feed structure design,is bound to bring adverse results.Therefore,the best solution should be the combination of feed,common combination of four speakers,five speakers and a single nozzle of the feed combination.In general,four horns,five speakers in the form of feed,has simple process,convenient debugging,but due to the symmetry and the impact of factors such as antenna cover,will lead to lower the overall efficiency of the antenna,and single nozzle total feed type combination feed,while the complex design and processing technology,processing cycle is long,but can effectively improve the overall efficiency of the antenna,and has the advantages of compact structure and the characteristics of miniaturization,this kind of structure is widely used in the combination of feed solution satellite communications,satellite remote sensing and satellite measurement and control for dual-band antenna feed demand problem such as sharing,since the tracking.Paper first expounds the S/X dual-band corrugated horn design method and train of thought,the existing S/X double frequency single horn technology,on the basis of combination of X-ray spectrum bandwidth change,improved S/X share the corrugated groove depth and forms,design a kind of S/X double frequency double groove depth corrugated horn,effective bandwidth broadening the X band,at the same time S spectrum has excellent performance,such as the simulation curves and the measured results are presented.Secondly,this paper introduced the concept of S band broadband clapboard polarizer,characteristics and working principle of demonstration and chose clapboard polarizer scheme,it is concluded that the lining of the S band circular polarization device design results,the results show that the use of Ansoft HFSS simulation software of finite element algorithm calculates the baffle plate polarizer electric performance parameters can meet the requirement of indicators,and realize the lining of the feed system for the design of the circular polarizer.Finally,this paper proposes a thick can improve the performance of the traditional filter diaphragm to send and receive filter and tee joint form of waveguide duplexer,the simulation model was established,after design processing of S band waveguide duplexer physical has carried on the contrast test,the results show that using thick diaphragm design processing of waveguide duplexer implements waveguide duplexer S frequency from the design and debugging of the welding,avoid screw allocation process,reduce the difficulty of machining,to ensure the machining accuracy and improve the waveguide duplexer power resistance,and can effectively reduce and passive adjustment of interference suppression system.Through the above simulation design process of feed network core components to the design of the feed processing as a whole were tested,by compared with design index,the test results and simulation results are in good conformity,meet the requirements of antenna technology index,the design of S/X dual-band feed has been applied to some key engineering projects,the result is good.
