Large outdoor billboards are a type of outdoor media that convey advertising informations in the open air or public places.It is composed of advertising panels,columns and foundations.The characteristics are strong visual impact,high reaches and low cost-per-thousand.Because of the special high-rise cantilever structure,large outdoor billboards is highly susceptible to external wind loads,causing tilting or even collapse.Therefore,It is particularly important to carry out structural safety monitoring.In addition,with the size of billboards continues to increase and the scope of use expands,regulators also need to record more monitoring data to ensure that the security status of these billboards is up to date.The factors affecting the safety failures such as tilting and collapse of billboards mainly include unreasonable design,poor construction quality,unscheduled inspection and maintenance,and sudden natural conditions such as typhoons.However,at present,the monitoring of large outdoor billboards mostly adopts the method of manual field device detection.It has long cycle time,large consumption of human and material resources,and can not achieve real-time monitoring around the clock and alert the billboards with potential safety hazards.This paper is aimed at the safety monitoring of large outdoor billboards.A monitoring scheme based on multi-sensor data fusion for attitude and tilt angle is proposed.Meanwhile,a set of early warning strategies based on the tilt angle and wind speed level is developed,and a large outdoor billboard structure safety monitoring system is designed and implemented.The large outdoor billboard structure safety monitoring system is divided into two parts: the lower computer system with STM32 microprocessor as the core and the host computer system based on QT GUI framework.In order to ensure that the system can meet the requirements of monitoring billboard security,this paper analyzes the system requirements from both functional and non-functional aspects.Then,this paper focuses on the design and implementation of the system.For the lower computer system,this paper is designed from the aspects of system structure,device selection,hardware circuit and PCB board,etc.It is implemented in terms of development environment,code organization,attitude acquisition,wind speed acquisition,location acquisition,wireless data transmission,prediction warning,etc.For the host computer system,this paper is designed from the aspects of architecture,database,functional modules,security,etc.It is implemented in terms of the development environment,code organization,3D simulation posture,map positioning,historical data display and so on.Finally,the functionality and non-functionality of the system are tested in this paper.The system test results show that the monitoring system developed in this paper can meet the requirements of real-time monitoring,accurate judgment and prediction of warning large outdoor billboards,and solve the problem of supervising the security of large outdoor billboards.
