Mobile terminal devices such as smart phones have brought great convenience to people's production and life.The development and popularity of social media have provided users with an open and free interactive platform.When these two media are combined,a new social environment is created,namely Mobile Social Media(MSM).In the current environment,the combination of mobile phones and the Internet has become the dominant tools for user's information exchange.While providing users with a rich experience,information overload in MSM environment,spam and false information are also hindering user's information behavior.Affected by this,when the user's information needs cannot be met,information anxiety will occur.With the penetration of MSM in people's lives,user's information anxiety is also becoming a universal phenomenon in society.Therefore,the research on user's information anxiety in the MSM environment has important practical significance and theoretical value.This paper mainly studies the user's information anxiety in the MSM environment from the following five chapters.The introduction of the first chapter mainly introduces the background of this topic,the current status of domestic and foreign researches,the research framework and innovations.The second chapter is the basic theoretical part,which explains the core concepts,classification and related behaviors of user's information anxiety in the MSM environment,and guides the subsequent research.The third chapter is the model construction.Based on the previous theoretical analysis,this chapter puts forward hypotheses from the aspects of influencing factors and behavioral results of user's information anxiety.Guided by the existing theories,the proposed hypotheses are incorporated into related research models to initially construct a user's information anxiety model in the MSM environment.The fourth chapter mainly conducts empirical research.The first part is to understand the situation of user's MSM use through the research method of questionnaire survey.The second part is to statistically analyze the data obtained from the questionnaire and verify the hypotheses proposed in the previous article,so as to modify the model constructed in Chapter 3 until the final model is completed.In the conclusion part of Chapter 5,firstly,based on the constructed model,the measures to eliminate user's information anxiety are proposed.Secondly,this paper summarizes the research,points out the limitations and deficiencies of the research,and makes prospects for future research directions and contents.This paper mainly has the following research results:(1)user's information anxiety in the MSM environment can be specifically divided into 5 aspects,including Information Seeking Anxiety,Fear of Missing Out,Information Overload Anxiety,Information Security Anxiety,and Information Storage Anxiety.(2)After testing,the influencing factors of user's information anxiety in the MSM environment can be attributed to the three dimensions,namely Individual Users,Information Resources and Quality,and the Technical Environment,which includes eight indicators,specifically User's Personality Traits,Information Literacy,Information Overload,Spam Information,False Information,Mobile Device Performance,Ease of APP's Functions,and Privacy Protection Mechanisms.(3)The model of user's information anxiety in the MSM environment is constructed.In this model,the relationship between user's gender and education level has no significant influence on information anxiety,so they are deleted in the model.(4)Several measures to resolve user's information anxiety are proposed from the perspective of Individual Users,Information Resources and Quality,and Technical Environment.As for users,they are advised to improve information literacy,network operators are expected to strengthen market supervision,and when it comes to designers of MSM,they should pay attention to the improvement of Privacy Protection Mechanisms.
