Design And Development Of Android Performance Testing Tool

With a growing number of mobile applications available at app stores and the improved capabilities of smartphones,people are downloading more applications in their devices.But whether these applications are very beneficial for users also these applications have some types of disadvantages over the mobile phone device such as heavy and updated versions of applications directly impact on the mobile device memory and reduce the mobile device network speed.While the performance of mobile device is become very slow and is going down due to usage of high amounts of mobile applications at simultaneously.In order to improve the efficiency of the test staff,this paper is designed and developed a test tool which can run directly run on Android client and monitor the application performance.Its main functions include,1-Obtaining performance data2-Saving performance data3-FeedbackWhen drawing object is invoked,the system will be drawing out the data corresponding to its constructor fold line,starts moving again after drawing.And before each drawing the Timer object will be cancel,and then as a New timer is to be created.Data to be stored is the first to use File create the corresponding path,the system sets the path to / sdcard / MQ / fixed path,user-friendly search;then create a csv file in the MQ folder by File,designated as the current time,which improves recognizable file;Once created,then saved prior performance data to the output stream file Buffered Writer with File Writer.E-mail system implementation,use of third-party mail bag,the step of using the mail message is transmitted.During the testing mechanism there are many different performance tools have been tested in which some are specific tools currently active in the market for performance tests App includes Emmagee,GT,and i Test.Performance testing tool designed in the paper is in more detailed,including the strong attractive user interface,100 % accurate performance testing results and light in size for using on Android Mobile Platform.Furthermore,during the testing of all performance tools found many different unknown and unique crashes.But the designed proposed project is totally accurate and fulfill all the criteria according to the market proposed project needs.
