With the pressing demand for efficient data processing in the information age,DSP chip has been widely used in wireless communication,image processing and other fields for its powerful data processing capability and high cost effective.However,with the continuous expansion of data scale and the increasing demand for real-time,the single-core DSP chip cannot meet the needs of the users.Thus,the high efficient multi-core DSP chip has become a new trend.Because of the wide application of multi-core DSP chips in space and military fields,it is becoming more and more important to develop domestic self-designed multi-core DSP chips for the sake of hardware security.Self-developed embedded integrated development environment is the indispensable way for the domestic self-designed multi-core DSP chips.In this paper,an embedded integrated development environment for a domestic self-designed multi-core DSP chip is designed and implemented.The embedded integrated development environment is based on Eclipse platform.It can help embedded developers to develop DSP applications.The project management module and debug module are implemented in the integrated development environment.In the project management module,the project template of multi-core DSP project and automated build module are customized.In the debug module,the debugging tabs and debugging views of multi-core DSP are customized.Meanwhile a multi-debugging module is implemented.With the help of the customized project management module and debug module,the embedded developers can implement functions such as creating and development,compiling build,debugging parameter configuration,online debugging based on domestic self-designed multi-core DSP chip.The application of this research results can help the embedded developers develop and debug DSP project in the highly integrated visual development environment.It can reduce the development and debugging difficulty of embedded developers to shorten product development cycle,improve product quality,and ensure product safety and reliability.
