The continuous development and application of multimedia information technology puts forward higher requirements on video clarity and smoothness of video playback.At the same time,due to the diversification of video information,it is necessary to provide storage space for massive video information.People need better split-screen sense when getting information.Tradition method is hard to achieve efficient transmission and storage of massive video stream,and also can not flexibly process and segment video streams and format conversion such as video resolution.Therefore,this thesis proposes and implements the heterogeneous multi-core video stream transmission method based on ARM+FPGA for 4K video stream H.265 codec split-screen transmission.ARM is for Linux system building which realize multi-tasking and real-time monitoring,FPGA implement hardware acceleration,reception,conversion,encoding&decoding,processing and split-screen display of video stream.Below is the main research content of this thesis.(1)Digital video transmission interface protocol research.Design the architecture of interface transmission protocol physical layer connection logic circuit.Achieved send and recieve 4K ultra high definition resolution video data stream by standard DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 digital interface protocol.(2)Efficient video streams transmission method research.Utilize the hardware acceleration feature of FPGA and design the efficient transmission logic circuit of 4K video stream to ensure the stable transmission of video stream.Make use of ARM's flexible programmable features,detecting video stream data type and converting to codec data type during transmission process.(3)Video stream encoding and decoding methods research.Using heterogeneous multi-core acceleration method to build a codec hardware logic circuit and a software monitoring system,analyzing the transmission path,timing and delay to ensure high-speed and stability of codec.(4)Video stream split screen display mode research.Directly accesses the module through the VDMA memory,caches video data into the memory,allocate the memory address,segment video data,reorganizes the segmented data to generate a new multi-channel video signal,thereby implementing video stream split-screen display.Finally,use Zynq UltraScale+MPSOC fully programmable platform to do the 4K video H.265 codec transmission split-screen display test.The test results shows that the codec takes less time than the playback time,meets the 4K video codec requirements,the split-screen display is consistent,and the video has no misplacement and speckle during playback,which satisfies the video multi-channel split screen display requirements.
