Unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)base station plays an irreplaceable role in the field of emergency rescue and civil communication.It can effectively solve the problems that the ground base station cannot be deployed rapidly,the terrain is limited and the cost is high in traditional communication.Thus UAV base station is promising.Through reasonable deployment schemed,UAV base stations can assist or replace ground base stations to provide efficient and reliable communication services for users.For the problem that it is difficult to quantify the position of air deployment continuously and based on the consideration of connectivity between UAV base stations,the deployment scheme and location update of UAV base stations are studied in this paper.The specific works are as follows:In order to solve the problem that the UAV's deployment quantity,connectivity and coverage are not considered jointly in the existing deployment schemes,a quantity-optimal deployment scheme is proposed for UAV base stations which can guarantee connectivity and full coverage of target area.Firstly,based on the network architecture,communication performance and coverage scenario of UAV base stations,the quantity optimization model of UAV base stations deployment is established.Then,aiming at the large solution space and complex constraints of the optimization model,a strong evolutionary genetic algorithm is proposed to solve the optimization model,and the optimal deployment scheme of UAV base stations is obtained.The algorithm proposed in this paper can effectively improve the evolutionary ability and search efficiency of the genetic algorithm.To make it,we designed a reasonable constraint checking and modifying mechanism and combining it with the evolutionary operation of the genetic algorithm.On the basis of the above work,in order to solve the changing demand of ground communication,and combining the dynamics of UAV,a fast location update strategy for UAV base stations is designed.Firstly,the uncertainty of communication requirement change is considered,and the optimal deployment model of maximum coverage is established with the aim of maximizing communication coverage.Then a strong evolutionary genetic algorithm is applied to solve the model,and we will obtain the target locations information of UAV base stations.In order to optimize the efficiency of positions adjustment,based on the information of the initial positions as well as the target positions of UAV base stations,a minimum updating distance optimization model is established.And then a recursive call algorithm is designed to solve this model.Finally,the fast location update scheme for UAV base station is obtained.The results show that the optimal deployment scheme and location update strategy proposed in this paper can effectively reduce the deployment quantity of UAV base stations and realize the rapid location update of UAV base stations when the requirements of ground communication are changed.
