In the field of modeling,STL modeling has become a classical representation of model representation. Its structure only stores the three-dimensional coordinates of points and the normal vectors of patches. It uses many triangular patches to approximate the model entity infinitely and then represents the model.Influenced by its single storage structure,it needs many compensation algorithms based on topology traversal to improve it.Such as the closed judgment after model optimization, the intersection algorithm of model cutting, the adaptive hierarchical algorithm, the parity rule generation algorithm in the filling field and the non-zero surround number algorithm, etc.,and their execution efficiency depends to a certain extent on the topological structure of the model. With the introduction of many STL compensation algorithms, the development of model preprocessing efficiency in 3D printing has been hindered, and STL method is powerless in the construction and expression of color models. To a certain extent,it also restricts the progress of true color 3D printing, making researchers have to choose another method. In order to solve a series of problems of STL in 3D printing, this paper proposes a model input method of implicit surface, setting contour lines to deal with them hierarchically, and replacing the traditional topological traversal intersection method with two-dimensional contour lines of variable reduction. In the processing of filling area, the implicit expression of surface is used to calculate the position relationship between any point and contour or object. At the same time,on the basis of implicit surface,an adaptive hierarchical algorithm is proposed to shorten printing time and improve printing accuracy.According to the feature of surface points, the curvature change is extracted and mapped with the built-in color image to realize the visualization algorithm based on the point feature on the outer surface of the model. The curvature problem of surface points is directly transformed into the problem of color system components at different levels, and the region of implicit surface is partitioned.Based on the separated independent sub-regions,the discrete points are calculated on the vertical longest section contours of the independent sub-regions by using the tracking method. This method can obtain the adaptive layered thickness while still ensuring that the thickness is within the width range of the printing nozzle.
