The self-quantified is a mirror that reflects individuals digitally and promotes self-understanding.The implication of “self-quantified” is to enable individuals to actively monitor personal data and deepen their self-recognition.In this process,wearable devices,applications and other means and tools constitute a complete quantitative self-technology.In general,any measurable behavior or experience can be part of a self-monitoring system.In the era of digital reading,the abundant digital reading resources and the utilitarianism of mass reading in libraries tend to cause readers to lose their reading direction,and it is difficult to form systematic reading habits.The significance of self-quantified is the positive impact and change that people bring to themselves,their learning,their work and their lives after they fully understand themselves.The “cooperation” between the library and the self-quantified is the initiative of the library to enhance the self-recognition of users in reading and learning.The essence is to help users form their reading system through library's efforts,so that library users can have an in-depth and comprehensive understanding and expand their “reading identity”.The paper studies the practical significance and development model of self-quantified technology in library,let quantified self be integrated with library service and management.The self-quantified enables libraries to improve the user's personal perception,and also expand the library service and management mode.Through the methods of literature review and questionnaire survey,this paper first expounds the application concept of self-quantified in the library environment,and makes a general survey on the willingness of domestic users to use self-quantified.This paper carries out relevant theoretical research on the condition that users have a positive attitude towards the use of self-quantified.By investigating the application status of self-quantified technology in various fields at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the application significance of self-quantified in library field.On the basis of discriminating self-quantified and traditional library service concept,it establishes a library service and management system and identifies users' self-quantified data that can be used in the library and the field of library application data.This paper puts forward the service mode and management mode of the application of self-quantified in library,and points out that users' quantitative behavior may involve reading interest,reading habit and other aspects.Library application quantification should start with providing self-quantified environment,gradually expand basic services,develop characteristic projects and optimize library management,visualize user location data in the library,and provide annual reading reports and a series of upgrading services.There are still some problems to be solved in the application of self-quantified in library,including access to data,portability of data,security of users' information,and responsibility for the negative impact.It requires a trusting relationship and a well-developed law.
