After the implementation of the ERP project,many domestic enterprises have not achieved the expected improvement of performance.What is worse,it is an indisputable fact that the failure rate is stably high.This paper focuses on the preparatory work for the implementation and specific promotion process of company B,and researches on the problem of implementation failure,and proposes solutions for the follow-up improvement and implementation of company B ERP project.It also provides a reference for the study of key technologies of ERP implementation,such as the goal,method,management and control and melioration of key technologies.After carding the relevant theories systematically,and combining with the business characteristics and management requirements of Company B,this thesis summarized the planning of Company B's ERP project.Taking the implementation model and key factors to success as the main line,this paper discussed the implementation process and risk management and control of company B's ERP project.The study found that the main reasons for the failure of Company B to implement ERP projects are: there was a huge gap between B company's management philosophy,business process,corporate culture and ERP management methods.In addition,the selected ERP software architecture is not consistent with the BPR approach.This paper combines the ERP implementation requirements analysis,implementation capability evaluation and software selection technology of various manufacturing enterprises.In the light of the failure of the ERP project in company B,some suggestions for improvement in the implementation of capacity,business process,risk management and control,communication and coordination are proposed.There will be corresponding adjustments to facilitate the successful implementation of company B's ERP project,not only on the system software itself,enterprise information technology and environment,but also on enterprise organizational structure,business process,internal control and basic management of the company.
