The Analysis On Critical Success Factors Of Ancient Book Digitalization Project In A Company

Ancient literature is the traditional material embodiment of the Chinese history and culture,reflecting the civilized achievements in ancient Chinese society,and recording different aspects of social development in different historical periods.Systematically sorting,development and utilization has been an urgent requirement.However,the traditional digital signal processing faces many difficulties,suchas: a large number of ancient literature,time-consumingdigitization,its high cost and limited knowledge service.The rapid development of the internet and cloud computing technology provides new ideas and tools for the digitization processing of the ancient literature.Based on the arrangement and digitization of the mass ancient literature,A company allied with the other participants to carry out a digitization processing project for ancient literature.The core content of this project is to base on the cloud technology,by introducing the public knowledge production mode,and then to build the information platform for the mass historical literature's digital processing.Also this project could provide knowledge service such as the excavation of the historical documents,content indexing,literature compilation and publication,thematic knowledge retrieval and so on.This paper focuses on the implementation of the digital processing project of A company,and analyzes the critical success factors of A company in the form of case analysis.In this paper,through literature review,expert interview and questionnaire,in combination with the practical situation of A company's ancient literature digitization project,we carry on the analysis research to sum up the model of the critical factors for the project.The resulting implications and suggestions would provide reference for the better project management.we also hope that it could be reference for similar applying for the middle and small-sized enterprises to carry out the digitization processing project of ancient literature or characteristic resources construction projects.
