Research And Implementation Of Online Course Selection System In Secondary Vocational Schools

Set in the development of the students' course selection platform of Pinghu Vocational Secondary School,this paper focuses on the intelligent course recommendation system based on the actual situation of course selection management.The main research results of this paper are as follows:1.A hybrid recommendation algorithm based on the similarity of student ' s interest is proposed.In the process of course selection,it has been difficult for traditional search engines to meet the individual needs.In order to solve this problem,more and more systems have applied recommendation techniques in the field of education.At present,many scholars have been studying the most widely used and most successful collaborative filtering recommendation techniques.However,there are problems such as cold start and sparsity in collaborative filtering recommendation.To solve these problems,the paper studies the application of students' characteristic attributes related to interest similarity in filtering recommendation and a hybrid recommendation algorithm based on student interest similarity is proposed.The data show that the algorithm overcomes two problems in the technique: the first is the cold start problem,the second is the data sparsity problem.2.According to the basic idea of software engineering,the paper studies the demand analysis,from business process,functional requirements and non-functional requirements and discuss the actual needs of the online course-selecting management system in detail.The online course-selecting system for secondary vocational schools is designed carefully and put into practice.We tested the functions of the system.The test results show that the system works well and achieved the predetermined functions.Each function module achieves the expected goal.The online course-selecting system with intelligent recommendation in this paper can provide some guidance and suggestions for the students' course selection,making the courseselection more convenient and quicker,offering more reference for the course selection and reducing the frequency of course selection.To some extent,it reduces the blindness of students' choice of courses,resulting in more fair and reasonable course selection results.But there are certain deficiencies as well.For example,in the actual course selection process,some courses are very popular due to the adoption of smart recommendation technology,while some other courses are ignored or even left without anybody to care for,which causes the uneven distribution of teacher resources,and the teaching effect has also been affected.In the future,we will continue to improve the smart course recommendation technology on account of this issue.
