The TFT-LCD technique is currently absolutely essential technique on communication display realm.The development of this technique is soon flown in our country for the last few years.China has already hoped to become the biggest display production country in the world.LCD display technique involving domain such as original material,parts are very extensive,among them,the color filter is the most important part of the LCD.It directly decides the main function as resolution and color...etc.of liquid crystal display.Therefore,there are practical value and realistic meaning to improvement of capability and quality of color filter.At present,the development of extremely high resolution is the main direction of the LCD display technique development.This text discusses the character and quality of color filter refer to full high resolution LCD,studying on improvement of the critic to quality(photo spacer)by DMAIC approach to improve the uniformity of PS height.Many Six Sigma tools have been used during the study work.Such as brains storm,the fish bone diagram,cause and effect matrix,FMEA analysis and DOE,etc.Finally we obtained a great quality improvement effect: The process ability improves evidently,meantime customer's satisfaction is raised significantly.Through this research,we have deeper comprehension to quality management concepts of Six Sigma DMAIC approach.We gain the experience of usage by DMAIC approach in the electronics information industry.It will definitely make reference to the quality improvement projects of the same kind type.
