Tactile sense is an important channel for human beings to obtain information.It has different advantages from auditory and visual sense.It can express information that is difficult to transmit under visual and auditory conditions in special circumstances.It is of great significance to study the mechanism of tactile information expression and perception.Symmetry refers to the regular repetition of the same part of an object image under a certain transformation(such as flipping,translation,etc.).Many types of symmetry such as point symmetry,axisymmetric.This paper mainly studies the axisymmetrical(internal symmetry and external symmetry)vibration haptic illusion perception of the vertical horizontal distribution combination widely used in visual research.Based on an optimized experimental setup,the symmetry illusion perception influence factors are analyzed to establish a prediction model.Based on the experimental results,the accurate vibration tactile information expression of shape recognition and Chinese character recognition is designed.The main work consists of four parts:In order to study the axisymmetrical(internal symmetry and external symmetry)vibrotactile illusion perception of the vertical horizontal distribution combination,the experimental device must not only consider the geometrical changes within the graph and the overall rotation angle of the image,but also be able to present a rich vibration pattern.Therefore,the angle rotation function is added to the original experimental device,and the control module and the vibration execution module are also optimized and designed.The appropriate control chip is selected and the vibration array is optimized to improve the perceived comfort.The illusion perception experiment is used for the vibration haptic symmetry.Research and graphic recognition of vibrotactile information expression Then the vibration symmetry illusion experiment was performed and compared with the visual illusion study to study the influence of the three factors(intersection position,rotation angle,and intensity distribution type).The experimental design method was used to optimize the experiment and study the influence and interaction of factors.The regression equation model was established to provide a theoretical basis for accurate vibrotactile information expression.Axial symmetry(internal symmetry and external symmetry)of the horizontally distributed combination of vibratory tactile illusion perceptions is essentially the length-perceived difference between two lines of vertical and horizontal lines.Therefore,we must first study the perception of vibration haptic length illusion,and compare the intensity in tactile illusion with the brightness in the visual illusion.Three different types of intensity distribution combinations are designed to study the vibration time parameters,intensity levels,and the intensity distribution combination type for vibration.Tactile length perception differences lay the foundation for the study of the illusion characteristics of vibrational tactile symmetry by multiple factors.After that,the symmetry illusion perception experiment of the vertical horizon line was performed,and analogous to the vertical level illusion research in vision,the influence of multiple factors(intersection position,rotation angle,and intensity distribution type)on the illusion of vertical horizontal symmetry was studied.Many,so the design of experiments using regression orthogonal experimental design method,study the influence and interaction of factors,establish a regression equation model and verify,provide a theoretical basis for accurate vibration tactile information expression.Finally,after validating the validity of the model,based on the perceptual law of model prediction,it was applied to shape recognition,and two kinds of codes,rectangle shape recognition and Chinese character recognition,were designed.The vibration haptics based on the model design was verified through perceptual experiments.The validity and accuracy of the expression have application value.The innovations of this paper are:(1)On the optimized vibrotactile device,the intensity in the vibration illusion were compared with the brightness in the vision,different intensity distribution combinations were designed,and the influence of the length perception of the new vibration mode was studied.(2)The influence of multiple factors on the symmetry illusion of vertical horizontal length was studied.The experimental parameters were characterized by regression orthogonal experiment design,and a representative number of experimental points were selected and the regression equation were established.(3)Based on the experimental results,we designed an accurate shape perception and discrimination experiment to improve the accuracy of vibrotactile information expression.
