With the development and popularization of Internet,network video service has become one of the major Internet applications.To ensure the high quality and reliability of streaming media transmission,all kinds of streaming media transmission technology came into being.The traditional streaming media transmission technology has poor compatibility of terminals and poor adaptability to network fluctuation.Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP(DASH)is one of the most effective solutions,which can solve the problems caused by limited bandwidth and the poor compatibility.Thus it can ensure the reliability of data transmission and high-quality of users' experience.Therefore,research on DASH protocol has strong theoretical significance and research value.The main work done in this paper is as follows:1.Investigate the background and development of the DASH protocol,and study the technical standards and system architecture of the DASH.2.For the traditional DASH adaptive algorithm is too absolute to define the threshold value of the buffer,this paper presents an algorithm based on fuzzy control,which caches the buffer into a safe range and adjusts the video bitrate by predicting the buffer.Besides,for the situation that the size of the physical buffer is fixed,a buffer-based adaptive algorithm is proposed,which takes the actual physical buffer occupancy as the feedback and realizes the dynamic control of the bitrate switching.The experimental results show that the performance of the two algorithms proposed in this paper are higher than the traditional algorithms.3.In view of the scarcity of DASH research in 3D,this paper optimizes and improves the traditional algorithms and introduces them into DASH in 3D.On this basis,an improved PID control algorithm is proposed,which fully considers the impact of buffer.The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is better than other algorithms in terms of the average quality of video,the number of video quality switching and the depth of video bitrate fluctuation.
