In recent years,wireless communication technology has developed rapidly,and human central network has drawn more and more attention.It puts forward higher requirements for antennas,which has directly promoted the emergence of new technologies for antenna design and production.One of its important research directions is the study of wearable flexible antennas.This paper studied the bending characteristics and bandwidth widening technology of the microstrip antenna.With the advantage of the microstrip patch antenna's thin profile,many small wearable flexible microstrip patch antenna were designed.These antennas have wide band,multi-purposes and stable performance.In this paper,a variety of antenna structures were simulated on the simulation software.Some of them were manufactured and tested,and the rationality of the design scheme was verified.The main research contents are as follows:1.The broadband technology and bending characteristics of microstrip antenna were studied emphatically.This paper analyzed the causes of bandwidth limitation of traditional microstrip antennas and the common bandwidth widening techniques,such as changing patch shape,improving impedance matching and introducing step structure.The bending characteristics of the microstrip patch antenna were discussed,and the performance of the antenna after bending was studied.Experiments show that deformation will decrease the antenna's bandwidth,cause the offset of the resonant frequency and increase the return loss.2.The effect of antenna shape and substrate material on the performance of flexible antenna was studied emphatically.Based on the theory of microstrip antenna,the shape of the antenna was optimized to further reduce the influence of deformation on the antenna with the help of the software HFSS.In addition,a variety of flexible substrate materials were studied.The paper analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of different flexible materials through the measurement of different materials of the antenna.The conclusion shows that expending the bandwidth of the antenna and using appropriate flexible materials can reduce the impact of deformation.3.The wearing scheme of flexible antenna was studied.Antenna had different performance when bending along different direction or placed on different parts of the body.Through the comparison of the different wearing schemes,the best wearing scheme was obtained.Finally,the paper discussed the issue of human comfort.A comfortable wearing position was obtained according to the feedback results from the interviewed people.The results show that the antenna performs well and people feel more comfortable when the antenna is coaxial with the human body on the arm.
