4G LTE Wireless Communication Technology And Its Applications In Power Private Networks

The power private network is one of the fundamental power network infrastructures for power transmission,control and dispatch,etc.Traditional power communication network is mainly depending on wired communication technologies including synchronous digital hierarchy?SDH?system,optical transport network?OTN?,power line carrier,etc.With the promotion of the national smart grid construction strategy,the coverage of the power private network should be extended to various customer terminals such as distribution terminals,smart power meters,distributed power sources,and electric vehicle charging and replacing piles,etc.Considering the shortcomings of traditional wired communication technologies,the 4^th generation wireless communication network?4G?has been widely commercialized and accepted as one of the main construction methods of the power private network because of its advantages including matured industrial chain and massive terminals coverages.This thesis presents a comprehensive and in-depth research on 4G wireless communication technology and its application in power private network based on the actual Jiangsu Zhenjiang Power Network project.Firstly,this thesis gives a brief introduction of various wireless communication technologies,and compares their advantages and disadvantages with applicable scenarios.Then a comprehensive analysis of the power communication network was presented focusing on the feasibility,key technologies and overall construction planning of the power wireless private network technology.Combines the actual project case of Jiangsu Zhenjiang Power,this thesis proposes a detailed introduction of 4G LTE wireless private network construction planning strategy,including core network and backhaul network implementation,system designing,security protection,respectively.At present,the implementation of the project has achieved good results,which verified the validity and correctness of the designing.
