Surface wave antenna has been widely used in aircraft and military devices because of its low profile,simple structure,small air resistance and easy integration.In recent years,with the development of metamaterials technology,more and more scholars are studying how to use metamaterials to transmit surface waves.At present,there are many kinds of metamaterials which can realize the function of surface transmission.The most widely used is the use of Goubau lines and surface plasmon polariton transmission lines to transmit surface electromagnetic waves.On the basis of previous studies,this paper continues to conduct in-depth research on Goubau line and SSPPs and designs the application of the two antennas.The specific research contents and contributions are summarized as follows:1.The surface wave is briefly introduced.On this basis,the design principle of the surface wave antenna is analyzed by using the basic principle of the transmission line of the high-conserving line and the artificial surface plasmon,and the dispersion curve and transmission characteristics of the two structures are simulated and analyzed.The advantages and disadvantages of the two kinds of structural changes are also pointed out.2.The radiation and frequency scanning mode of leaky wave antenna is analyzed.The frequency scanning leaky wave antenna based on the Goubau transmission line is designed.The working bandwidth of the antenna is 4-10 GHz,and the average gain is 9dBi.The main radiation direction is scanned from the back direction to the forward direction with frequency,and the radiation efficiency can reach more than 90%.3.This paper studies the method of using SSPPs as transmission line to form an endgame antenna with dipole radiation,and combines the radiation mechanism of yagi antenna to design a high-gain endgame antenna based on SSPPs.The antenna radiation pattern is stable with better directivity and better before-and-after radiation ratio,and the optimized antenna radiation gain increases by 7dBi.In addition,a logarithmic period antenna based on SSPPs is designed by combining SSPPs transmission line and logarithmic period antenna.Simulation results show that the structure has good performance.
