The wireless body area network(WBAN)is a kind of small dynamic human-centered networks. It combines the wearable devices and implantable biosensor technology, which is used to collect information of the human bodies and transmit the information to the monitoring network. The WBAN can be widely used in remote medical areas, health monitoring and other fields. However, with the development of the WBAN,multiple WBANs will be clustered in a limited area such as hospitals, gyms and most dense scenes. Then the body area networks transmitted on the same channel will cause inter-network interference on the same frequency bandwidth.Severe inter-network interference can lead to multiple retransmissions of data and reduce network throughput which will affect the network performance. In order to improve the energy efficiency and ensure the transmission reliability,in this paper we propose a distributed interference avoidance strategy to avoid the wireless body network inter-network interference.Non-Cooperative game theory is used to build the model of multiple wireless body area networks scene. An independent wireless body area network is considered as a game subject and cannot obtain any information of other game subjects.A wireless body area network speculates the strategy choices for all the competitive networks according to the local performance parameters. Then it updates the channels selection beliefs of the competition networks and calculates the channels selection distribution of its own network. When the wireless body area network suffers serious inter-network interference,a new channel is selected according to the channels selection distribution to seek the best benefit. The proposed adaptive inter-network interference avoidance algorithm enables multiple body area networks to adaptively select to idle channels when encountering severe inter-network interference. The overall channels can be allocated reasonably. In this paper,we perform both static and dynamic experiments on the Matlab platform and the hardware platform. The algorithm is evaluated by the experimental results, which proves that our proposed algorithm has great performance on converging to the idle channels within a small number of rounds in both single network and multiple competitive networks. The wireless body area networks can adapt to more varied network environments and maintain good network performance with the proposed algorithm.
