Due to the Multiple-Input-Multiplex-Output(MIMO)radar can transmits orthogonal wide beam signal,using large-scale array element can generats a large virtual array aperture.So it has the advantages of wide detection range and strong anti-interference.The application of Space-Time Adaptive Processing(STAP)method can improve the target detection capability and clutter suppression performance in MIMO radar.However,due to the lack of training samples and large of computational complexity,make the clutter suppression the effect dropped.Based on this,this paper takes airborne MIMO radar as the research background,designs the relevant pre-filter with the STAP method to reduce the sample demand and calculation amount.The main contents are divided into the following aspects:(1)Establishing the clutter model of airborne MIMO radar,combining the characteristics of MIMO radar with STAP,analyzing the properties of airborne MIMO radar clutter model,researching the dimensionality reduction STAP method.Verifying the suppression of dimensionality reduction STAP method through simulation experiments effect.(2)Two-Dimensional Pulse-to-Pulse Canceller(TDPC)is established as a pre-filter.By using the existing system parameter information,designed the filter coefficient matrix D to establish two-dimensional.The pulse canceller performs clutter cancellation,then the canceller acts as a pre-filter to suppress the main lobe clutter,and then cascades with the mature dimensionality reduction STAP method.The simulation results verify that the pre-filter design can improve the clutter suppression performance.(3)Design a Clutter Canceller based-on-the Clutter Recovery(CCCR)method.Firstly,recovers the original clutter received by the MIMO radar by constructing a linear independent spacetime steering vector.Secondly,in order to minimize the clutter received by the adjacent pulse,a clutter canceler is established.Finally,concatenate the traditional space-time matching method or the reduced-dimensional STAP method.It is cascaded to form a two-stage pre-filter and a target detector.As a pre-filter,CCCR can significantly reduce the degree of freedom(DoFs),leaving more system DoFs for moving target detection and reducing the number of samples.Simulation experiments show that the design of CCCR can effectively suppress clutter and reduce the clutter DoFs.Compared with TDPC,it can reduce the system storage.Subsequent cascaded space-time matching method or dimensionality reduction STAP method can improve the clutter suppression performance and reducing its sample demand.
