Information Visualization Design is a rising field promoted by this information and intelligent era,which has become a significant way of brand-building and propagating tourist information for urban tourist attractions due to its high efficiency,simplicity and explicit logic.The application of IVD on guide information of urban tourist attractions can somehow reduce the heavy load of information on modern people based on its emotional design and high-level media technic,break the stereotype of visual image of tourist attractions as well as supporting them to dominate in the competitive market and provide more humanized tourist experience.This article begins with the conception of information visualization,clarifies the ultimate goal is to convey the information effectively;secondly,it figures out the disadvantages of information visualization design on tourist attractions which includes redundant information,single forms,the lack of experience feeling and the design requirements proposed by social development,then explores three general prerequisites of IVD by researching some recent examples:effectiveness on conveying information,reasonable screen layout and user experience feeling.Moreover,it concludes the method to apply IVD to tourist guide information according to cognitive psychology,semeiology,logic,eye-tracking and attention capture,finally applies theory analysis to case practice,which includes early project research,building architecture of guide information,abstraction of representative elements and design styles through image,color and emotional expression,then applies to multiple media and extended products design.This article also provides theory evidence for the IVD on tourist attraction by doing research on IVD applications and meet the public atheistic and metal requirements at the same time,brings an interesting experience on information dissemination. |
