The number of patent applications in China has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years,and the number of patent applications has continued to expand.The patent information management of patent agencies has the following problems:(1)The data query is inefficient,the deadline reminder is easy to make mistakes,and a large amount of basic data is difficult to maintain,resulting in low efficiency and low management level of patent agencies,and the risk of patent agency is greater.(2)Patent case information cannot be shared in real time.(3)The data statistics work form is backward.(4)The existing management software has a single function and needs to manually input data.How to query,scientifically manage and utilize the entire information of patent applications is a work for patent agencies.The work of "design and implementation of a patent information management system based on the B/S model" is able to free the flow management personnel from redundant and repetitive tasks,optimize the allocation of resources,reduce the operating costs and risks of patent agencies,and improve the efficiency of patent agencies,improve the response speed of market demand,and strive for maximizing profits,which has important practical application and promotion value.This thesis first summarizes the status quo and development trend of patent information management systems at home and abroad.Through the use of UML(Unified Modeling Language)to model the patent information management system,based on the comparative advantage of technology,using B/S(Browser/Server)mode and SQL Server,the logical structure of the database was designed,and the related research Database access technology was studied.Analysis of business needs is conducted through business processes,roles,functions,and other aspects.In the business process analysis,the main business process stages were studied,and the system's focus was analyzed.The business focus of the system was the acceptance,transaction processing in the patent application process,and post-grant transaction processing.Divide the roles into patent applicant,business manager,patent process personnel,patent agent and system administrator,and explain the roles through the use of case diagram;in the functional requirements analysis,the system functions are divided into several parts,including case submission management,case acceptance approval management,case acceptance management,patent case management,document management,task and expense management,statistics inquiry and system management,and the functions that each module needs to complete are respectively described.Simultaneously,through an E-R diagram,the core data entities are analyzed for the requirements of the database.On the basis of the requirements analysis,each module and database are specifically designed to determine the specific functions to be implemented.On this basis,the key technologies,such as data analysis technology,data storage technology,data upload technology and data retrieval technology implemented in the system are elaborated.The page effects are displayed and the main function design is verified.The system uses the B/S architecture,Microsoft's database management system.Through case testing,the patent agency can effectively complete management of patent information,that could greatly reduce the repetitive work of process management staff,so as to improve work efficiency.This paper provides a useful exploration in information management for patent agentciest.In practical,the system can be used by 250 people at the same time,with the average response time being less than 5 seconds.
