Edge computing is a distributed processing architecture that includes computing,storage and network resources near the edge of network where data is generated.It can speed up processing data and provide edge intelligence services nearby.WIA-PA(Wireless Networks for Industrial Automation Process Automation)is an industrial wireless network standard independently developed by China,with the advantages of convenient deployment,low energy consumption and high real-time performance.The edge computing is applied to WIA-PA networks,not only enables the combined local and cloud processing ability of edge computing,but also can adapt the WIA-PA networks to digital transformation of industry.The WIA-PA networks is combined with edge computing,and gateways are the key point.However,the existing WIA-PA gateways do not provide effective support for edge computing in terms of the gateway structure,device service,and cloud interaction,which hinders the application of edge computing in WIA-PA networks.To address above problems,this thesis systematically discusses the edge gateways for WIA-PA networks,and research the new WIA-PA gateway structure based on edge computing,configuration microservices and the edge cloud data processing method.The main works of the thesis are as follows:1.This thesis has analyzed the characteristics of WIA-PA networks and the technologies related to the implementation of WIA-PA gateways.It has also explored the features and advantages of edge computing,and the key technologies such as heterogeneous computing,data storage and virtualization.The microservice architecture and docker container deployment microservice technology have been discussed.2.Given an ineffective support for the WIA-PA gateways on edge computing,an edge gateway structure has been designed.It made WIA-PA networks not only support edge computing,but also interact with the cloud.Considering the priority features of data,a WIA-PA networks data processing method has been proposed to realize edge cloud collaborative distribution of WIA-PA networks data.3.Using the advantages of edge computing in the management,data processing and connection of heterogeneous devices,this thesis has proposed a configuration microservice method for heterogeneous industrial network devices based on edge computing.By integrating this method into the WIA-PA edge gateway,which has provided configuration management services for heterogeneous industrial devices and improve the efficiency of configuration service establishment among heterogeneous devices.4.The EdgeX Foundry open source platform has been used to implement the designed edge gateway structure,complete the WIA-PA networks management and protocol adapter microservice module.Based on the edge gateway,the edge cloud interactive interface has been used to realize the proposed edge cloud data processing method.At the same time,the configuration of microservice method has been implemented for heterogeneous industrial network devices,and the implementation process of the way has been described in detail.5.The software and hardware test environment of the WIA-PA networks edge gateway has been built.The configuration of microservice method for heterogeneous industrial network devices and WIA-PA data processing strategy implemented in this thesis have been tested,and the examination results have been recorded and analyzed.The test results show that the research and implementation of WIA-PA edge gateways in this thesis can effectively manage WIA-PA devices and transform data formats.Through the edge cloud data processing method,WIA-PA data classification processing can be realized.In this thesis,the configuration of microservice method for heterogeneous industrial network devices is proposed to realize the configuration management of heterogeneous industrial devices.The research in this thesis is valuable for the application of edge computing technology in industrial wireless networks.
