The Design And Development Of A Retail Merchandise Management System Based On MVC

With the rapid development of Internet,there are various forms of retail sales patterns,including department stores,supermarkets and e-commerce.Since then,as long as there is a computer connected to the internet,even a few people in the residence could do business by operating stores through e-commerce website.Compared with traditional methods,this greatly reduces the cost.In the product information management,medium-sized enterprises widespread use an advanced ERP system.However,higher input costs need appropriate human,financial and material resources.For small enterprises,due to limitations of scale and capital,it is difficult to purchase large ERP systems.For such users do not know how to do it.This system designed according to the characteristics of small enterprises.In the design process,the system satisfies the requirements of users as far as possible.Therefore,the system has strong usefulness and relevance.This paper studies the retail industry during the period of the popularity of the internet.Developing a business management system can reduce costs and improve the competitiveness of enterprises merchandise management.The system is based on MVC mode and B/S structure.Its development platform is Visual Studio 2013 Express for Web.It uses the LigerUI framework as the front end and its database management system is SQL Server 2012 Express.In database design,it uses Entity Framework's Code First mode for data table design.By using UML tool to study the system requirements analysis,system design and system implementation process in detail.In the process of system design and development,it is mainly aimed at the problems such as the processing of public information and intelligent recommendation.It has procurement management,sales management,inventory management,financial management,basic information management and other functional modules.It can generate statistical reports in real-time to reflect business conditions such as profit statistics and sales ranking.It unified management of public information such as goods,customers,suppliers,etc.,to reduce the user's burden of maintenance and data redundancy.It provides purchasing commodity recommendation function,through the analysis of sales of goods records by using Apriori algorithm,to get related products.Based on previous data,it also can provide constructive suggestions for the enterprise.After development and testing,the system has been formally launched to use.Currently,the system is operating normally and users are satisfied with it.
