LTE network is an all-IP based structure network,meanwhile,the power consumption of LTE handsets have become the industry's new hotspot,the mobile phone battery time is important to user.Although battery capacity has been greatly progress,but there is a bottleneck in battery technology,so it is essential to solve phone power in the other way.The current LTE handset power consumption research focuses on the chip manufacturing process and hardware design,In fact,in addition to research on the optimization of power saving in hardware,a reasonable setting parameters of network are also very influence on mobile phone power consumption.From the analyse the standby state behavior of mobile phone,mobile phone will scan the paging channel to check whether there is paging indication which is belong to the mobile phone during PagingCycle.The mobile phone will reselect to high quality to camp on through measureing the quality of service and neighbour cell.In addition,from the analyse the active service behavior of mobile phone,when call is setup,it will use the appropriate uplink transmit power to exchange data between base station and mobile phone,and the transmission distance and fading will affect the uplink transmit power directly.At the same time,the transmit package size and the number of data interaction between mobile phone and network will affect the power consumption.And about the DRX discontinuity sending and receiving mechanism,in the data transmission time,mobile phone can enter sleep state to save energy.In the LTE protocol description,there is new resource scheduling about semi-static scheduling,such as voice call,the amount of service data is fixed and the time interval is also fixed,So the network will enable semi-static scheduling,the resources is in the fixed channel assignment after good negotiation,and mobile phone could reduce unnecessary signaling interchange between mobile phone and network,also very significant effect on power save consumption.This paper studies the impact of factors under the LTE network about terminal power consumption,and evaluates the impact of these factors,gives an evaluation mechanism.By understanding 3GPP protocol,we wil design saving evaluation system,set up a test environment platform,to verify how the LTE parameters will affect the power consumption of the terminal,give test results and provide scientific basis for the deployment of LTE base stations and network parameters optimization.At the same time,for mobile phone manufacturers,the power saving platform provides a solution to verify terminal power-saving performance,and provides a feasible scheme,to enhance the power performance of the products,accelerate product into market and improve user's experience,so it has very broad application prospects.
