In the 21~stt century, the world is interconnected.People are linked with each other through computers, mobile phones and other devices which they use to share, exchange and interact with information, forming a cyberspace that resembles the real society.Different from the conventions and patterns of the real society, the cyberspace has the characteristics of intangibility of time and space, pluralism of subjects, concealment of identity and autonomy of behavior. The real identities of the real society are relatively stable, but the virtual identities of the cyberspace are flexible. While we enjoying the high-quality information experience and interaction brought by the Internet, the virtual world and the reality are blended.Establishing the identity relevance between the real society and the cyberspace has a positive effect on maintaining the network order and standardizing the anomie behavior caused by the excessive release of freedom and personality,it is a research hotspot in the field of cyber security. The main research work of this thesis includes:Firstly, this thesis summarizes the domestic and foreign research status of virtual identity tracing and forensics, classifies and analyses of the process of virtual identity tracing, formally describes and builds an information model for real identity and virtual identity respectively, designs the corresponding calculation method which evaluates attribute similarity according to the semantic, cognitive characteristics and data structure of different identity attributes, and the builds the identity similarity calculation model.Secondly, this thesis combines identity similarity, identity authentication information, identity mapping mechanism and social cognitive theory to propose a method of identifying identities identity across the real society and the cyberspace. This method determines the relevance between the virtual identity and the real identity through setting different thresholds for the identity similarity, determines whether the user's login behavior is abnormal with identity authentication information, determines whether the virtual identity and the real identity belongs to the same person, and determines whether an identity mapping relationship can be formed. The experiment shows the effectiveness of the method, and provides a reference value for the accuracy of identity tracing.Thirdly, this thesis designs and implements a prototype system for virtual identity tracing and forensics. From requirements analysis, outline design to detailed design, this thesis explain the system architecture, system process, system function modules and database design in detail. The implementation of each function module of the system is tested with use case, and all functions are working properly.
