At the present stage of higher education,course information has been an essential teaching model with various information technology applied in the current education.Many teaching modes in universities have also changed from traditional teaching methods to small private online course(SPOC),this transform leads to a series of problems: 1)The traditional teaching evaluation model could not meet the current teaching needs properly;2)The traditional teaching management method lacks of supervision of the learning process,and could not offer personalized teaching services;3)Learners cannot adjust their process quickly from inefficient method.By collecting,doing statistic and data mining with learning behavior data on online education,we can go deeper into the relationship between behavior and effects,thus improving our ability of early warning at optimizing and decision.It is significant for optimizing the online teaching,better making the teaching decision and early warning for learners.In this paper,a very important basic course in University General Education,University Information Technology Foundation,is taken as an example.Firstly,this thesis introduces the characteristics of the course.The learning behavioral characteristics,such as watching the teaching video,online quiz of the section learning,has been clustered into four groups using k-means.Then the four learning behaviors being analyzed,and the suggestions and improvement were given for the four types of learners in their learning procedures.Furthermore,we have tried to use Gini coefficient to analyze the relationship between the leaning behavior and learning effect,respectively.We have found that the learning behavior of doing the sectional quiz immediately after watching the video affects the course score most,and the duration of watching video is the smallest impacts on the course score.Secondly an evaluation system has been designed using the structural design of software engineering from learners,teachers and system administrators with the aim to meet their practical learning and teaching requirements.The evaluation system has been designed based on the course scores of the former learners and learning behaviors of the current learners.It can automatically evaluate the learning behaviors of the current learners,and forecast their risk level.It's useful for teachers to supervise the learners' learning process,and make an early warning to their learning problems.
