| The widespread adoption of internet and social media have greatly reduced the cost of transmitting false information.Compared to accurate reports,fake news and rumor can reach more people,penetrate deeper,and spread faster on social net.Therefore,the emergence and rise of “Fact-checking” information has played an important role in combating false information and transmitting facts to the public.Based on this background,considering that Weibo and Wechat are the two most influential and representative social media platforms in China.Therefore,this study selects two social media platforms: Weibo and WeChat,to study the “Fact-checking” information of science and technology published by social media accounts containing “Fact-checking”information within a certain period of time.The breadth of the “Fact-checking” information on the social media and its influential factors.Combing the literature and the characteristics of the new media,this paper constructed the scientific and “Fact-checking” information dissemination effect measurement index system and content category table as the basic research contents,and puted forward relevant exploratory research questions.Finally,the study used six factors: subject type,presentation form,originality or not,title form,source,and communication subject as the independent variables,with WeChat reading/selected message volume,Weibo forwarding volume/comment volume,audience recognition and exposure,audience attention,audience feedback and re-transmission behavior,audience trust as the dependent variables.The study use content analysis and questionnaire survey,through data analysis,the study found: in terms of social media,“Fact-checking” information of science spreads in general.Among the six content characteristics,only originality affects reading volume,forwarding volume and comment volume;As the audience cognition contact of the “Fact-checking” information,the influencial factors include audience diversity characteristics,headline style and information length;the audience diversity characteristics and subject type will affect the audience attention;The headline style will affect the feedback and re-propagation;Presented in the form of information,advertising and communications links to the four main factors that will affect the audience trust.Based on the results of this research,in the final part of this study,the study will start from the content setting and dissemination subject of scientific and technological “Fact-checking” information.In content setting,the study suggest that the subject type is highly related to the daily life of the public and fits the hot spots of the network.And combining two or three presentation forms,and thelength of the page is 3-4 screen.In dissemination subject,we should use micro-blog and Wechat platforms to aggregate resources and establish professional affairs.Verify the team and enhance the dissemination. |
