Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has been growing at a sustained high speed and brought about a significant increase in its overall national strength.However,the following serious problems,such as ecological environment,natural resources,employment,product quality,unbalanced development and inadequate investment in public welfare undertakings,have brought great harm to future social development.With the deepening of social responsibility research in academic and theoretical circles,more and more enterprises regard fulfilling social responsibility as one of the strategic objectives of enterprise development.In order to realize the overall policy of "one belt and one road" and structural reform on the supply side,the central enterprises have undertaken a lot of tasks,and every move has attracted much attention.In addition to making use of existing relevant laws and regulations to know the performance of corporate social responsibility,the media plays a very important role in the process of information transmission.However,the current research tends to study the supervisory role of negative media reports on corporate social responsibility,while ignoring the positive media reports also have an encouraging role,and lacks systematic research on the special enterprises with large number of stakeholders such as central enterprises.In view of this,this paper draws lessons from the existing research results at home and abroad,and combines the realistic background of Chinese enterprises,chooses 91 A-share listed companies directly affiliated to SASAC from 2011 to 2015 as the research object,and deeply explores the relationship between media attention(including positive and negative reports),corporate social responsibility and corporate performance.This research will adopt the method of combining theoretical analysis with empirical test.Firstly,the research on media attention,corporate social responsibility and corporate performance will be summarized to lay the research foundation and find the breakthrough point.Secondly,the relationship between media attention and corporate performance will be studied to verify the intermediary role of corporate social responsibility.Thirdly,the research framework will be constructed and the phase will be put forward.Then,design empirical research,collect data manually through databases,and use ROST software to conduct emotional analysis.Finally,test the research hypothesis,use STATA15 and other statistical analysis software to explore the empirical results and draw conclusions.The significance of this study is to explore the Pre-factors of corporate social responsibility in the special economy of central enterprises,verify how the two tendentious media reports affect the performance of corporate social responsibility through data,and provide a new perspective for revealing the "black box" of the relationship between corporate external governance and corporate performance.The conclusion of this study will have an important guiding significance for the managers of central enterprises how to deal with media concerns,and how to improve corporate performance through fulfilling social responsibility.
