With the rapid development of wireless communication technology,not only requires the students of relevant majors to have a solid theoretical foundation,but also a strong ability of communication engineering design and RF circuit implementation.However,due to the high price of the relevant experimental equipment for wireless communication,most of the experimental courses in colleges and universities are mainly demonstrative,which makes it difficult to arouse the enthusiasm of students.Therefore,in order to deepen students' understanding of theory and training their practical ability,it is urgent to need a relatively cheap and easy-to-operate wireless communication experimental platform.In this thesis,the design of the RF transceiver experimental platform has been completed.The hardware circuit of the transceiver is mainly studied,including the RF front-end circuit,the modulation and demodulation circuit,the frequency synthesizer and the power supply module of the transceiver system.It can realize the conversion between the RF signal with the center frequency of2.45 GHz and the baseband signal.And a complete wireless communication system can be constructed by combining it with the baseband processing module.The transceiver is designed with superheterodyne structure,and the conversion between RF signal and 140 MHz IF signal is realized by mixing.The conversion between IF signal and baseband signal is realized by orthogonal modulation and demodulation,which is helpful to improve spectrum utilization and is suitable for various transmission modes.The concept of modularity is used in the design of the RF transceiver experimental platform,The RF transceiver experimental platform is designed with a concept of modularization,which means that the functional circuits of the system are divided into independent modules and each module has its own test interface.The module can be used independently,or can be connected by coaxial cable to form a complete radio frequency transceiver system.In this way,the flexibility of experiment is increased,and it is helpful to stimulate students' independent design and innovation ability.In this thesis,the simulation of the transceiver link is completed and the processing and testing of transceiver is completed.The transmitting power can reach 28 dBm and the receiver gain can reach 85 dB,the imagine rejection reach 35 dB,the noise figure is as low as 1.77 dB,and the dynamic range is over 55 dB.So the performance basically meets the requirements.
