Molten salt electrolysis is the main preparation method of light rare earth.In view of the low degree of automation of rare earth metal production,backward equipment and low production efficiency,the first rare earth smelting Cartesian coordinate robot system was developed.The equipment not only effectively avoids the harm of harmful gases to workers' health,but also improves production efficiency and quality.According to the working conditions and the production process,Completed research and development of rare earth smelting robot systems.The mechanical system of the rare earth smelting robot mainly includes the body of the rare earth smelting robot,the smelting cathode lifting device,and the mold releasing mechanism.Static analysis was carried out on the Y-axis,Y-axis and Z-bearing pallet of the rare earth smelting robot and the Z-axis drive screw.Results show that the structure meets the strength requirements but its quality can still be alleviated.The first six natural frequencies and modal shapes are obtained by modal analysis;Provides a basis for avoiding vibration.The acceleration motion law of the servo motor of each axis of the robot is selected and kinematics simulation is carried out,and the motion law of each axis is obtained.The results show that the axes move smoothly and the robot actuators can reach the specified position.The X-axis and Y-axis were optimized by topology and the Y-axis and Z-bearing pallet was parameterized.The quality of each structure was reduced by 12.95 kg,4.089 kg,7.248 kg respectively under the premise of meeting the strength requirements.According to the requirements of rare earth smelting process,The control system of rare earth smelting robot was built and programmed and debugged.The research shows that the excellent performance of the rare earth smelting robot meets the requirements of the manufacturer and improves the production efficiency,which lays a foundation for the research and development of rare earth smelting intelligent equipment in the future.Figure78;Table11;Reference 52.
