With the development of science and technology,a variety of color display technologies are emerging,and color display technology plays an important role in people's lives.The color display method based on spatial light modulator has been proposed continuously,and this technology hotspot will be used more and more widely in the future.In this paper,we use DMD and superpixel algorithm to generate holograms to achieve color imaging.In the aspects of theoretical design,experimental verification and result analysis,the following work is carried out.1.This paper introduces the single-chip and three-chip DLP projectors as well as LCD and LCOS projectors,and investigates their development status.The method of color display based on spatial light modulator is briefly described,and the commonly used dynamic modulation hologram generation algorithm is introduced.Put forward the research significance and innovation of this topic.2.This paper briefly describes the optical principle of DMD,and introduces the basic principle of computational holography,encoding method.Then it focuses on the principles superpixel algorithms.3.A dynamic color imaging method based on DMD and superpixel algorithm is proposed.The scheme of color display is designed by loading displacement grating to separate RGB components of color image.At the same time,the program implementation of superpixel algorithm is realized,and the program encapsulation of superpixel is completed.Finally,the scheme design of loading grating is completed,and the hologram is generated.The experiment is validated by the generated hologram.4.The experimental optical system consists of a light source composed of red,green and blue light,a three-color photosynthetic beam system,a DLP4100 system,a twolens imaging system and a CCD image receiving system.Two primary color imaging,three primary color imaging and full color imaging experiments have been completed successively.The imaging parameters of this experiment were analyzed.5.After the experiment is completed,the structure similarity and color similarity of the obtained images are evaluated.At the same time,the power of the image is calculated.In the last stage of the work,the factors affecting the experimental results of dynamic color display are analyzed and solved.6.At the end of this paper,the work is summarized and prospected,and the improvement scheme of this experiment is put forward,that is,to improve the efficiency of the color imaging method.7.Summary: To improve the projection of single color wheel DLP,a dynamic color display method based on superpixel principle is proposed.After theoretical simulation and experimental verification,the obtained color images meet the requirements in terms of structure and color,which confirms the correctness of the method.Of course,this method still has some areas to be improved,such as the efficiency of imaging,color matching and so on.
