With the continuous and rapid development of China's economy,as a modern transportation channel,nowadays highway is playing an increasingly important role in society.Administrative departments should be able to monitor road traffic in real time and timely detect traffic accidents and road faults.The public also wants to be able to check road traffic whenever necessary for convenience of travel planning and thus the whole video surveillance appears to be of essence.At present,all highway units in Jiangsu province have built their own video surveillance system.However,video surveillance from each unit is disconnected and video resources are not shared.Limited road videos are only provided to the superior departments in charge,which is not conducive to the unified command of higher authorities.Meanwhile,video surveillance system of each unit is deployed in the internal network and is not open to the public and can't meet the public's travel needs.In the light of the problems above,together with the combination of the advantages of Internet cloud technology and strong distribution capability of video CDN,the design and implementation of highway on-cloud video surveillance platform is studied in this thesis.The specific work includes:(1)Based on the investigation of video surveillance status and network architecture of all road and bridge units in Jiangsu province,and combined with the actual business requirements of each road and bridge dispatching center,the necessity of developing surveillance platform is analyzed,specified the functional modules for users,followed by system architecture designing.(2)The overall analysis and design of the platform are conducted,and the basic characteristics of the platform are described in detail.With the adoption of service-oriented design principle,the design method and service processing logic of each functional module are given.Meanwhile,the platform is designed specifically.(3)The technical points of the platform are described and load balancing is applied to realize distributed deployment and solve the large concurrent user access.Platform's query results and temporary computational results are stored in the Redis cache to save the time to access the background database and improve the response speed towards users.Authentication mechanism is initiated for video access to avoid hotlinking behavior or malicious attack access.(4)Test cases are compiled from the perspective of user interface,function,performance,security and access control,database integrity and other aspects.The stability,security,robustness and reliability of the highway on-cloud video surveillance platform are verified by extensive testing.After development test and on-line operation,the highway on-cloud video surveillance platform has been connected to surveillance videos of 15 road and bridge units.Subsequently,the connection of the highway on-cloud video surveillance platform to all road videos in the province will be realized.Provincial competent authorities and highway units can acquire the real-time traffic situation of the province's roads through the platform.Through video playback on WeChat,millions of car owners driving on highways in Jiangsu province can learn about the traffic on the roads every day.
