Starting from "The Great Challenge of Survival" in 2000,the prototype of domestic reality show appeared.Until the appearance of "Super Girl" in 2004,the music reality show entered the audience's horizon.The music reality shows such as Come on,Boys,My Heart Singing,Chinese Good Voice and I'm a Singer are also popular with audiences.Today,the domestic music reality show mode has undergone more than ten years of development,from the TV music talent show "stand alone" to the network linkage program mode diversification.Nowadays,the study of music reality shows in academia mostly focuses on case studies.One or two popular reality shows are selected to compare and analyze their forms and effects.The purpose of this study is to systematically sort out the historical evolution of self-made music reality shows on TV and Internet,explore the innovation and development trend of this kind of reality shows mode,and hope to play a guiding role in the text research of the development of music reality shows in the future.This research takes the representative popular music reality show on the network from 2004 to 2018 as the sample,divides the development and evolution of the program mode of Chinese music reality show into four periods and independently into chapters,and analyses the characteristics of the program in this period around the elements of the program mode of music reality show.In the initial stage(2004-2009),the program is mainly imitation,with the addition of grass-roots talent shows such as "sea election","PK" contest and the referendum by SMS.Exploration period(2010-2013)mainly introduces copyright.Star-element combination program and double-choice "tutor" system appear.In the period of development(2014-2016),with "Chinese Good Songs" as the symbol of the rise of original programs,the program mode changes from "Star-making" to "Music-making",and the program forms are diversified.In the booming period(2017-2018),network programs are blooming everywhere,relying on the use of high-tech programming methods to upgrade comprehensively.At the end of the four chapters,the reasons for the changes of the program modes in each period are analyzed from three dimensions: the intrinsic development factor of the program,the environmental and policy influence factor and the audience demand influence factor.Finally,based on some drawbacks in the development process of China's music reality show,this paper puts forward some strategic suggestions for the future development of program production,such as paying attention to content and cultural connotation,building brand IP and paying attention to the needs of audiences.
