In recent years,information technologies such as computer communication networks have been developing rapidly,and a large number of information exchanges are required at various engineering sites and even at enterprises.Fieldbus technology has emerged as the main means of realizing on-site communication.However,the old fieldbus technology has various shortcomings: different bus standards are not compatible with each other;the speed is slow;using a dedicated real-time communication network is expensive.With the continuous development of technology,the degree of industrial automation has been continuously strengthened,and the shortcomings of traditional fieldbus technology have become increasingly prominent and it is difficult to meet the real-time requirements in many control areas.At the same time,the development of Ethernet technology is rapid,and maturity and safety have been proven in people's daily life and are widely used.In the industrial field,the requirements of fieldbus technology are getting higher and higher,and the cost-effectiveness,high transmission speed,and large amount of data transmission are required.These demands shift the direction of development to industrial Ethernet technology.Beckhoff from Germany developed the Industrial Ethernet EtherCAT,which has very high real-time performance,combines powerful performance and low cost,and has a flexible topology and simple configuration,making Ethernet and fieldbus as a whole.It has attracted more and more attention from equipment manufacturers.For this reason,this text has studied and researched on EtherCAT communication technology,industrial Ethernet field bus technology,and has completed the design and application of the EtherCAT industrial Ethernet fieldbus based on XMC4800.First of all,the thesis analyzes the principle and technical characteristics of EtherCAT system in detail,analyzes the actual engineering application,and determines the design scheme of the EtherCAT slave station card device integrated in the industrial CT trigger,and then introduces the module in the hardware circuit design including the XMC4800 slave microcontroller module,power supply module,network interface module,USB-UART module and other major components,then analysis the slave device description files to implement EtherCAT communication between master and slave.Finally,TWINCAT on the PC main station is used for system experiments and tests.The experimental test results meet the requirements of the subject and EtherCAT communication is realized.
