Due to the low complexity and low inter-channel interference,Spatial Modulation(SM)and its expanded Generalized Spatial Modulation(GSM)are the new MIMO transmission technology.The goal of this article is improving the performance of GSM system while maintaining low computational complexity.The main tasks of this research are to develop signal detection algorithms,active antenna combinations selection algorithms and precoding detection algorithm for GSM system.Firstly,this thesis studies the three most commonly used traditional detection algorithms in GSM system.They are maximum likelihood detection algorithm,linear detection algorithm and sphere decoding algorithm.Through comparative analysis,the performance of the sphere decoding algorithm is closest to the optimal maximum likelihood detection algorithm,and the complexity is relatively reduced.Additionally,in the field of active antenna selection algorithm,this thesis mainly studies the generalized spatial modulation active antenna combination selection algorithms based on the maximized minimum Euclidean distance and the antenna correlation criterion.The former algorithm has the best bit error rate performance but higher complexity.The latter is less complex.Therefore,this article designs two activated combination antenna selection algorithms based on the norm and the angles and on greedy algoritluu in GSM system.The four kinds of antenna selection algorithm are analyzed in the experiment.The simulation results show that the algorithm based on the norm and the angles of antenna selection has lower complexity.The algorithm based on greedy algorithm has lower complexity and its performance is close to the optimal algorithm as well.At last,from the perspective of the transmitter,this thesis studies the zero-forcing detection algorithm and the minimum mean square error detection algorithm based on Generalized Precoding aided Spatial Modulation(GPSM).On this basis,the channel matrix is more orthogonal and its module value is shorter by adding lattice reduction technology.The precoding low-complexity detection algorithm based on lattice reduction technology is proposed.The experimental analysis shows that the proposed algorithm has lower complexity than the maximum likelihood detection algorithm with similar error performance.
