Ultra-wideband(UWB)technology has many advantages,such as simple structure,low power consumption,strong penetration and good confidentiality.Since it was proposed,UWB technology has attracted the attention and praise of academia,and has been widely used in many fields.Ultra-wideband radar has a very significant application in shallow,middle underground material detection,life detection and other fields,and it is the most important method.This paper designs a radar detection system based on UWB.The system consists of transceiver link,comparison link and antenna.It can be used in shallow,middle underground material detection,life detection and other fields.It can improve work efficiency and has high accuracy.Ultra-wideband technology is studied,and the overall design scheme of UWB radar detection system is given.The detection system is divided into three parts: transceiver link,comparison link and antenna.Among them,comparison link is the amplitude measurement module in the receiver.The transceiver link of the detection system is designed.In the design process of transmission link,the characteristics and working principle of pulse source and gain amplifier circuit are carefully studied and analyzed.The frequency source is designed by using phase-locked loop technology and HMC830 chip.HMC992Lp5 e chip is used in automatic gain control circuit,which greatly simplifies the design of intermediate frequency automatic gain control circuit.During the design of the receiving link,the structure of the radar receiver,the synthesis technology of local oscillator,the low noise amplification and the calibration technology of amplitude and phase are carefully studied and studied.By analyzing and calculating the performance indexes of each module,a receiver based on superheterodyne structure is designed.A resonant cavity antenna for measuring dielectric constant is designed based on finite difference time domain method.In the process of antenna design,the dielectric parameters are carefully studied and analyzed.In the case of metal cavity and radome,the antenna is simulated.The keywords of the antenna are optimized.The array design and analysis of the antenna are carried out,and the resonant cavity antenna is designed.The UWB radar system is applied to life detection.The fretting characteristics of human life(breathing)are simulated,and the echo signals are analyzed in frequency spectrum,so that the existence of human life characteristics can be judged by breathing.The UWB radar detection system can not only detect human life characteristics,but also be applied to other substances detection,which can greatly improve the efficiency and accuracy of work.
