A Study And Reorganization Of Yue Ling Cai Qi

Kue Ling Coi Qi(??????),abook of sui-shi(??)category and compiled by Li Yiji(???)in Ming Dynasty,contains four volumes,according to the order of four seasons,each season in one volume.Each volume contains subjects as the order from season general classification,wu-xing sheng wang(????),yue-ling(??),daily notes,tiao-she(??),to phenology divination.At the end of December,there are the yue-ling of leap month,general discussion of tiao-she,appendage of phenology divination,appendage of daily notes attached in forth volume.This book had been domestically disappeared in the early Qing Dynasty because it didn't get widely spread.Fortunately,the National Archives of Japan(N.A.J.)collect the original carving edition during Wanli Era(????)of the book,which had been published by photocopying and put into volume eight to nine of Sui Shi Xi Su Zi Liao Hui Bian(??????????)by the Yee Wen Publishing Company(Taipei)in 1970.This paper contains two parts.Part one studies the book of Yue Ling Cai Qi,compiled by two chapters.Chapter one studies the completion background and circulating situation of the book.This chapter contains two sections.Section one focuses on the development and changes in politics,economy and culture in the middle and late Ming Dynasty and researches its influence on the development of sui-shi literature.Based on this and Li Yiji's personal life,we will speculate his original intention of writing and compiling this book.Meanwhile,Section two investigates the vanishing causes of the book by analyzing its publishing information and circulating situation.Furthermore,the Chapter two will research on the contents,structure and value of the book.This chapter contains three sections.Section one will focus on the improvement of structure and the content features of Yue Ling Cai Qi on the basis of previous relevant scholars' achievements.After that,with a classified study on the quotations,Section two tries to analyze and reveal the literature material origin of the book and state briefly the author's deficiencies of quotations in compiling this book.Moreover,the academic value of the book in the aspect of ritual,literature and so on will be provided in Section three through analyzing all parts of contents of this book.The central issue of Part two is to reorganize Yue Ling Cal Qi in terms of text editing.Based on the original carving edition of N.A.J.,the reorganization copies and collates the contents of the book.Specifically,We mainly amend some errors,omissions,redundancies and disorders in the text,and replace some rare variant and common Chinese characters by standard forms.The original edition has its own punctuations and symbols of paragraphs,we take that as a reference and reorganize the contents upon the comprehension nowadays.For the sake of reading-friendly,we also catalogue the book during the reorganization,which wasn't offered in the original book.
