In China,the broadband access technology presents a trend of "optical access for replacing copper access".The construction and replacement of all-optical communication network is rapidly being carried out throughout the country.Meanwhile,traditional copper wire access has being phased out.In order to reduce the times of failures and the duration of fault,it is very important to monitor the optical fiber broadband network.In this thesis,an integral on-line real-time monitoring system has been designed,which can monitor the transmission state of optical fiber broadband line in real time.The potential faults and faults can be found effectively and actively by monitoring the optical power value in the optical fiber line,and the corresponding position can be located automatically and accurately.The staff just to check the monitoring software on the remote control display PC to know the communication line status of each monitor.In the event of a potential failure or failure,according to the positioning information returned by the monitoring terminal,the response can be quickly resolved,thereby shortening the failure time.In view of the defects of data uploading methods in most existing remote monitoring systems,LoRa wireless communication,the new Internet of things communication technology,is adopted in this thesis.The monitoring terminal of the monitoring system is designed based on ARM processor,including optical power detection circuit,LoRa wireless communication module configuration and connection,optical time domain reflector(OTDR)module configuration and connection,and monitoring terminal software.The connection between PC and receiver is designed.In the PC control and display terminal,the control and display interface is programed by using the virtual instrument software LabVIEW.In order to improve the reliability of the optical power data monitored by the monitoring terminal,the adaptive weighted data processing method is used to further process the monitored data.The experimental results show that the monitoring system achieves the intended design goal and can realize the function of optical power monitoring,line potential fault warning and line fault alarm in fiber broadband network line.
