With the vigorous and rapid development of the social economy, the collection of cultural relics in China has been heating up in recent years. At the same time, technologies related to cultural relics collection, such as cultural relics restoration technology, are also continuing to develop at a high speed. The use of information technology to accelerate the restoration of cultural relics and reduce the cost of cultural relics restoration is the main direction of the development of cultural relics restoration technology under the current background of cultural relics collection. The use of information technology for cultural relics restoration is inseparable from the acquisition and processing of image data. Therefore, how to further improve the ability of image data acquisition and processing to better adapt to people's production and life needs is the direction of the industry and scientific research institutions, and is also an urgent need for the development of cultural relics restoration technology. In this paper, aiming at the problems of artificially restored cultural relics, such as many attempts, slow splicing speed, low recovery accuracy and low completion degree,an algorithm for automatic splicing and restoration of paper artifacts based on the angle and edge length of debris is proposed. The main research contents are as follows:1.Aiming at the inaccuracy and omission of image data acquisition,an image preprocessing optimization method and information chain retrieval method are proposed. For the fragment image to be processed, when the image information is acquired in the early stage, the image information is dark as the background information. In order to reduce the influence of external factors on information extraction, this paper uses global threshold segmentation method to extract image information. In order to reduce the impact of small fragment data information, this paper uses enhanced,open-collected and thickened image processing techniques to refine image information; The post-image data processing is more convenient. This paper uses the class boundary tracking method and the chain code freeman method to extract image feature information.Through the use of the above image preprocessing optimization technology, image feature information extraction is more accurate and efficient.2.Aiming at the problem of low stitching efficiency and low accuracy in the process of fragment image stitching, this paper proposes a stitching method based on angle and side length features and an error compensation method for the oscillation function.Firstly, the rough matching is performed according to the angle value, and then the fine matching is performed according to the edge length value, and finally the missing compensation is performed according to the concave-convex function, and the gap compensation is performed according to the oscillation function.Compared with the automatic splicing algorithm of feature points, approximate polygon fitting, angular sequence matching, etc.,the splicing accuracy, splicing completion and splicing time of the proposed algorithm are improved by at least 10%.Through multiple comparison experiments and algorithm improvement,it is proved that the proposed algorithm not only solves the problem of splicing accuracy in the splicing process of cultural relics, but also reduces the cumbersome calculation process, which greatly improves the splicing efficiency. The algorithm can be widely applied in the fields of criminal investigation and cultural relics restoration, and it can effectively and quickly solve the problems related to irregular fragmentation.
