By a great deal of investigation of flying attitude detecting technology, the way of using the signal of geomagnetism is reckoned to be an accurate, reliable, simple, and wide applied foreground method for Flight Attitude detection. In this dissertation, a new way of Flight Attitude detection using weak magnetic sensor and the signal of geomagnetism is investigated. The order of geomagnetism and the mathematically calculating model of roll angle in Euler Equation are founded after the investigation of geomagnetic distribution especially in china and researching of the worldwide advanced weak magnetic sensors. The model was further improved by analyzing the attitude analytic methods and the arisen problems. The way of Error Compensation for magnetic sensor in roll angle calculating is brought forward. The most suitable geomagnetic sensor is selected on a great deal of experiments data of a testing device for roll attitude detection including temperature sensor, microcontroller. Thus the whole circuit and the software are designed; the program which the roll angle calculation and the errors compensation of the sensor such as temperature drift, cross-sensitivity of biaxial sensors, and noise signals, is compiled and then the roll angle was analyzed through coordinate quadrant estimated method, the analyzed results of the compensated and uncompensated signals were compared. The Compass Error, which originates from the ferromagnetic materials in flying vehicle, is analyzed from the produce source, and the interrelated method of the compensation is described.
