With the development on internet technology,streaming media is becoming the main force of network application depending on its good interactivity,high-level experience,and content abundance.Since streaming media is an application directly targeted to users,it requires high bandwidth resources based on its own features.To guarantee the watching quality of users,special attention shall be paid to QoS in practical application.As a result,how to guarantee user experience is a worthy topic to research.The designed video system is a new video-on-demand(VOD)system scheme based on hybrid streaming media distribution technology of CDN and P2 P designed after the advantages and disadvantages of current VOD systems are acquired and analyzed.The specific design features are shown below:(1)In view of the stability of VOD system,the stability of CDN technology is employed to deploy the network architecture of the system during design.The system is designed with three layers of networking architecture,including core management layer,dispatching distribution layer,and edge service layer from top to bottom.(2)Given that the system provides stable video service for users and shortens the time to obtain services by users simultaneously,with the flexibility of P2 P network,the server and users are designed into a P2 P network on the edge service layer which provides service for users,to increase the flexibility of the system.(3)In consideration of the safety of video contents,during the system design the content storage is designed with dual copies with active-standby modes and some key modules inside the system are also designed with dual machines with active-standby modes,to increase the safety.The designed VOD system theoretically provides stable video service for users and shortens the time to acquire services by users simultaneously,and can reduce the traffic data of backbone networks inside the system.At the same time,the whole architecture designed for the system makes up the unstable P2 P network system by virtue of the stability of CDN technology.Moreover,P2 P network is used in the design of edge nodes.This solves the problem of higher cost due to expanded edge node servers arising from increased users in the case of single use of CDN architecture for networking.
