Research On The Application Of Blockchain In Patent Application And Protection System

Patent,as a formal document issued to the applicants by a state administrative or regional organization,records the entire contents of the applicant's invention,and gives a certain amount of protection according to the applicant's application information.As a platform for patent application and protection,the traditional patent application system is based on centralized server storage information,which has greatly improved the efficiency of patent applications and examinations.However,under the current popular system design mode,the patent application system is mainly based on the design of the centralized server,and the generated data is mainly stored in the relational database,resulting in excessive concentration of data.Based on the abovementioned problems in the traditional patent application system,blockchain technique provide new solution for patent application and protection,because of its characteristics of distributed,decentralized and data antitampering.Blockchain,as a distributed system architecture,has the characteristics of decentralization,information traceability,data tamper resistance,etc.Nodes can build trust and transfer value without previous trust,and the interaction between nodes can prevent the contents of patent from being revised.The involvement of many participants can jointly maintain the patent information in the system and ensure the security of the patent information in the system.The use of blockchain technology by the National Patent Office is also an important measure for make government affairs and transparent the authenticity and security of data,because it can help reduce the possibility of human intervention and operation,and enhance the fairness,openness,transparency and authority of patents.The main research content of this paper is as follows:1.The design of Patent Application and Protection via Alliance blockchain.Firstly,we analyze the characteristics of patent application and protection business and blockchain technology,and explore how patent application and protection business and blockchain technology can be deeply integrated.We design a patent application and protection system based on alliance blockchain,which consist of eight component: architecture,data storage block,node channel and chain code,transaction initiation,node endorsement,transaction ordering and block generation,block reception and synchronization,and blockchain construction.2.Storage and security verification of unstructured data in patent applications.For unstructured data uploaded to the system patent,mainly files and pictures,the alliance blockchain cannot save unstructured data into the blockchain,and it is impossible to know whether the file has been tampered with.In view of the above situation,we first use the Star File System(IPFS)to save and generate the IPFS address corresponding to the file,and save the IPFS address to the patent application and protection alliance chain network.While uploading the file,the file content is read,and the hash value of the corresponding text is calculated by the SHA256 hash algorithm.The Markle binary tree is used to obtain the hash value of the root node,and the hash value is stored in the alliance chain network.When downloading again,the corresponding file is downloaded by using the IPFS address recorded in the link chain network,and the hash of the file is calculated into a markle tree,and the hash value of the root node of the current file or file group is obtained and compared with the markle root of the initial file.Whether the verification file has been modified.Finally,the experiment verifies the feasibility of the proposed method.3.Design and implementation of the patent application and protection system based on blockchain.Firstly,according to the analysis of patent application and protection business,we design and implement the blockchain-based patent application and protection system based on the unstructured data storage and security verification in the patent application and protection alliance blockchain and patent application.Secondly,unit testing,functional testing and performance testing are carried out to ensure system reliability.
