Research On The Measurement Of Patent Fragmentation And Influencing Factors Of China’s Blockchain Technology

Since the beginning of the new century,global scientific and technological innovation has entered an unprecedented period of intensive activity.A new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation are reshaping the global economic structure while changing the global innovation landscape.As one of the key technologies to provide digitization,networking,and intelligence,the social value of blockchain has attracted widespread attention from governments,financial institutions,scientific research institutions,and source communities.More and more right holders have related patents,patent fragmentation phenomenon has appeared,which in turn creates patent bushes,which may cause harms such as weakening innovation,hindering competition,and increasing transaction costs.This article uses the incoPat patent database for sample collection,comprehensively uses patent fragmentation,patent measurement analysis and other related theories to study the situation of my country’s blockchain technology patent fragmentation.Comprehensively compare the use conditions,advantages and disadvantages of the patent dispersion measurement method,this article chooses to use the HHI index and the E index to conduct patent fragmentation measurement analysis on my country’s blockchain technology.And use the dynamic panel model and the system GMM estimation method on this basis.Analyze the influencing factors of my country’s blockchain technology patent fragmentation,and finally put forward suggestions for the development of my country’s blockchain technology.The research on the fragmentation measurement of patents of my country’s blockchain technology found that the degree of patent decentralization of all patent holders in my country,foreign patent holders in China,and domestic patent holders are different.The specific performance is as follows: the blockchain technology patents of all patent holders in my country are decentralized,but the degree of dispersal of patents in branch areas is not the same;the blockchain technology patents of foreign patent holders in China are in a centralized state,and the countries in China Patents are highly concentrated;the blockchain technology patents of domestic patentees are decentralized,but the central and western regions have a relatively high degree of patent concentration.An empirical study of the factors affecting patent fragmentation in my country’s blockchain technology found that: the number of patent rights,technical complexity,number of patent collaborators,number of collaborators’ patents,and number of patent innovation subject inventors all have a significant impact on the patent fragmentation of my country’s blockchain technology.In view of the current situation of blockchain technology patent fragmentation,the author makes the following suggestions: at the government level,it is necessary to introduce policies based on local conditions to avoid following the trend,including improving blockchain technology policies and giving play to the leading role of the government;promoting patent concentration in the eastern region and integrating blockchain technology resources;limiting patent concentration in the western region and accelerating the popularization of technology.Promotion.At the enterprise level,it is necessary to combine its own technological development positioning to deepen the research and development of the blockchain branch area,including finding breakthroughs in the incentive layer technology to appropriately promote patent fragmentation;appropriately promoting patent concentration in the data layer and application layer branch areas;and steadily advancing the contract layer and the benign development of the consensus layer branch technology.At the level of universities and scientific research institutes,a cooperative and shared technological innovation system should be established with enterprises.While proposing the above suggestions,the author proposes the following suggestions to jointly promote the development of my country’s blockchain technology in view of the patent fragmentation influence factors of my country’s blockchain technology:the first is to establish blockchain technology standards and industry standards,the second is to attach importance to and strengthen the quality of patent writing,the third is to formulate and implement a strategy for the layout of blockchain technology patents,and the fourth is to increase the training of blockchain professionals.
